Augusta Health is committed to the support of their community through sponsorships and support of health programs and initiatives.
The focus of Community Contributions funding must be to improve the health of their community in one of the following areas of identified need:
- Nutrition and Physical Activity
- Diabetes
- Mental Health
- Heart Disease and Stroke
- Access to Healthcare Services
- Cancer
- Substance Abuse
- Dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease
- Respiratory Diseases
- Tobacco
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Injury and Violence
- Oral Health
Funding Information
The maximum amount available is $2,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be community nonprofit agencies and local governments in Augusta County, City of Staunton and City of Waynesboro. Requests from Highland County, Rockbridge County and Bath County may also be considered. Individuals and for-profit businesses are not eligible.
- Augusta Health will not consider requests that are for the sole benefit of an individual, a political organization, or organizations/programs in potential conflict with the mission, vision and values of Augusta Health.
- Funds must be used for costs directly related to the program or event described in the application.
- Funds must be used for costs incurred in the year in which the funds are received.
