Under this granting program, the Foundation will support a limited number of programs or projects that provide services to underserved populations. In 2022 The Beim Foundation will award grants under the Education and Human Services guidelines outlined below.
Education
In 2022, The Beim Foundation will invite proposals from a limited number of ongoing educational programs or projects, located in the seven-county Twin Cities Metro area, that provide services to underserved K-12 students.
Grants will not made to Educational Programs/Projects that:
- Provide services to underserved K-12 students
- Focus on closing the opportunity gap and
- Address needs amplified by the pandemic
Human Services
In 2022, The Beim Foundation will accept Letters of Intent (LOIs) from new or ongoing Mental Health programs that provide direct services to historically underserved K-12 youth including, but not limited to, individual services, family services, counseling services, in-school services, and after school programs.
Priority will be given to programs that:
- Address ethnic and racial inequality
- Work to heal historical or community trauma
- Include a focus on
- Trauma-informed care and
- Culturally competent and sensitive services
Funding Information
Grants will likely range between $10,000 and $30,000.
Geographic Focus:
Only programs serving participants in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area are eligible to apply.
Who can Apply:
Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that are located within the seven-county Twin Cities metro area.
