Eligibility Criteria
To apply, your organization must meet the following criteria:
- Provide effective programs for seniors
- Primarily serve seniors residing in Placer County
- Maintain tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
If your organization is selected for funding, your organization will be required to create a profile on GivingEdge, the region’s resource for nonprofit information. It is highly recommended that you start this process early, as training is required to complete a profile.
Grants may not be used for capital campaigns, gifts to endowments, deficit funding, fundraising events, or direct assistance to individuals. Additionally, grants may not be used for political advocacy, legislative policy efforts, or to promote particular religious and/or spiritual beliefs. Grants will not be given to organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, race, gender, national origin, ethnicity, language, veteran status, sexual orientation, or disability.
