Funding will be given as a cash grant with an additional $15,000 in pro bono strategy and advisory consulting from KMSG. There are no restraints on what kind of programming the funds can be used for.

- $30,000 in unrestricted support to a 501c3 nonprofit organization and $15K in pro bono consultative support from KMSG
Criteria
To be eligible, a 501c3 organization must currently work in one or more of the following issue areas:
- economic justice/ending poverty
- human rights advocacy
- rural community services
- access to education/literacy
- cultural exchange and global citizenship
- supporting/empowering first generation college students
- arts and culture tied to issues of justice and social impact
Additional Rules for Entry:
- Based in AL, AR, GA, MS, TN, LA, SC, NC, KY, WV
- Metro area served must be <2M people
- Annual operating budget of less than $5M
- No existing relationship to kmsg/kindred motes for hard-tech
