City of Anaheim Storefront Improvement Program – California

Dated: December 19, 2022

The City of Anaheim is seeking applications for Storefront Improvement Program to improve the public face of your store, business or property.

Donor Name: City of Anaheim

State: California

City: Anaheim

Type of Grant: Grant

Deadline: 01/31/2023

Size of the Grant: $10,000 or $100,000

Details:

The Storefront Improvement Program was created to encourage private investment along Anaheim’s commercial corridors and to improve and maintain storefronts, business aesthetics, and business functions in the City of Anaheim. Building renovations and facade improvements can be costly to owners and can mean the difference between a vacant building and a vibrant, occupied storefront. The grants are targeted to control and prevent blight and deterioration within the City and promote business retention and expansion.

Program Goals

This grant program seeks to improve the publicly visible fronts of businesses along the City’s commercial corridors so that after completion of work, residents will notice a marked improvement in the appearance of the buildings. The purpose of the program is to provide an economic incentive to:
