Olathe neighborhood group that is registered with the City is eligible to apply for available neighborhood grant funding to help engage neighbors and enhance their communities.
With this program, Olathe residents will be able to revitalize their community’s atmosphere through two different methods of funding.
- Neighborhood Community Engagement Grant
- This funding will be used to promote neighborhood relations and foster communication between residents. It will be a smaller grant with a total of $2,000 potential award funds.
- Neighborhood Beautification & Improvement Grant
- This grant focuses on neighborhood aesthetic enhancement. This grant’s awarded funding will be used for projects throughout the neighborhood that can clearly benefit all residents and improve the quality of Olathe neighborhoods.

Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Olathe Neighborhood Grant Program the application must meet the following requirements:
- Recognized neighborhood through the Neighborhood Registration Program. Register here.
- Project must benefit the entire neighborhood.
- The improvements must be tangible and accomplishable within a one-year time frame.
