In accordance with the will of J.S. Acker, non-profit organizations that promote “… music and parks, especially for the children of Prescott …” are encouraged to apply.
Funding Information
To be considered for a grant, the application must include the following items:
- Funding requests for less than $5,000:
- A completed City of Prescott Acker Trust Fund Application
- A copy of IRS 501(c)3 letter of nonprofit status
- A project budget for the funds being requested
- A one page balance sheet. Additional documents may be requested.
- Funding requests for more than $5,000:
- A completed City of Prescott Acker Trust Fund Application
- A copy of IRS 501(c)3 letter of nonprofit status
- Acker Grant Application – 2 – FY2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023)
- A project budget for the funds being requested
- Most recent Corporate Tax Return (IRS Form 990)- first two pages. If your organization is exempt from this requirement please provide an IRS 990-N E-filing receipt or proper documentation
- A one page balance sheet. Additional documents may be requested

For funding for Fiscal Year 2022 (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023).
Criteria
To be eligible, ALL agencies wishing to apply must be incorporated in the State of Arizona and recognized as a non-profit (501-C 3 status) by the IRS prior to application deadline of March 11, 2022. The (501(c)(3) cannot be pending. Include a copy of your IRS 501(c)(3) letter of nonprofit status determination.
