These grants are specifically designed to support capital projects for current and prospective child care providers within the city.
Funding Information
Through the Dream Up! Child Care Grants, providers within the City of Superior and Douglas County will have the opportunity to apply for funding up to $5,000, with the potential for an additional matching grant of $5,000 for providers within city limits.
Funding awarded through these grants should be utilized exclusively for capital projects that enhance the overall quality, safety, and accessibility of child care facilities.
Eligible Projects
Eligible projects may include, but are not limited to:
Renovations to enhance safety features and security measures within child care facilities.
Expansion or modification of existing spaces to accommodate additional children or specific program needs.
Upgrades to outdoor play areas, including the installation of age-appropriate equipment and safety surfacing.
Eligibility Criteria
The grants are open to both existing providers within Superior and Douglas County and soon-to-be providers who have plans to establish a new child care facility within city limits.
