There are separate applications for the marketing and technology services awards and the Comcast RISE Investment Fund. Eligible business owners may apply for either, or both programs.
Comcast RISE, a multi-year commitment to provide marketing, creative, media, and technology services to small businesses owned by people of color or women.
Funding Information
- 500 grants totaling $5 million will be distributed as follows:
- 100 small businesses in each city
- Each business will receive a $10,000 monetary grant
Eligibility Criteria
- Business requirements
- Established business operations for 3 or more years.
- 25 or less full-time and part-time employees
- At least 51% owned and operated by someone who identifies as person of color, including Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Asian American owners, or a woman

- Miami, FL (Miami-Dade and Broward Counties);
- Oakland, CA (City of Oakland);
- Seattle, WA (King and Pierce Counties);
