The Denver Foundation seeks proposals from organizations that center constituent leadership among people who live in low-income communities, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.
Through the Community Grants Program, the foundation invests in nonprofit organizations and collaborations that are reducing disparities and promoting equity for communities, prioritizing people living in poverty, immigrants and refugees, and people of color in Metro Denver.

Funding Information
Grant awards typically range from $20,000 to $50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Foundation funds many faith-based organizations. However, they do not fund religious activities or programs that require religious activity as a condition of receiving services.
- The Denver Foundation funds organizations that serve residents of the Metro Denver area—Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties. Field of Interest Funds, Donor-Advised Funds, and other Special funds are not limited to Metro Denver.
