eBay is giving back to the small businesses powering America. In partnership with Hello Alice, eBay is awarding more than $500,000 in grants and education resources to support U.S. small businesses with the resources they need to scale, grow and thrive.
The eBay Up & Running Grants program will award 50 eBay business sellers with grant packages of $10,000, including cash, eBay education and coaching, and more. This year, eBay is expanding its grant with an additional stipend worth up to $500 for each grantee to apply to eBay Refurbished office equipment, technology and tools to keep their small businesses up and running.
Funding Information
- Grant Recipients will receive a $10,000 (USD) unrestricted grant to be used for the benefit of the Grant Recipient’s business
- Grant Recipients will receive a stipend worth up to $500 to apply to eBay Refurbished office equipment, technology and/or tools and eBay Academy and Growth Advisor benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible to enter a business in the Program, you (“Officer”) must be all of the following as of the first day of the Program Period (defined below):
- an entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder and/or President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title) of a business that meets the below business criteria;
- a legal resident of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico;
- eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE).
- To be eligible to participate in the Program, the business (“Entrant”) must meet all of the following criteria as of the first day of the Program Period:
- must either be a new small business eBay seller, defined as signed up as an eBay business seller between July 26, 2022 and April 26, 2023, with active listings in the past 6 months; OR
- an existing eBay small business seller, defined as a minimum of $10,000 and maximum $500,000 per annum gross merchandise volume (“GMV”) and with active listings in the past 6 months and with seller rating that is “Above Standard” or “Top Rated”;
- must not be a recipient of any previous rounds of the eBay Up and Running program.
- The potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility by Sponsor, which may include completing associated documentation.
