The California Green Business Network and Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks, are partnering to provide Certified-Level Green Businesses, or businesses that get certified, with a $1,000 Efficiency Mini-Grant to help complete efficiency projects at your facility.
This initiative is a partnership between the California Green Business Network and Intuit, the maker of QuickBooks, and is designed to help small businesses in California save energy and money by implementing efficiency upgrades so you can operate more sustainably.

Types of Efficiency Upgrades would Qualify for an Efficiency Mini-Grant
Efficiency Mini-Grants can be used to cover or help cover the cost of upgrades such as: LED lighting upgrades, lighting controls, EV chargers, HVAC maintenance, smart thermostats, electric water heater replacement with heat pump water heater, inefficient plumbing fixture swap outs, pipe insulation and installation, walk-in cooler maintenance/strip curtains, and much more!
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants Must:
- Be a Certified-Level Green Business (existing or new) in California that completed certification or recertification by 1/15/24.
- Operate as a small business with 100 or fewer employees and ≤$1 million in revenue.
- Apply for funding consideration with a proposed project and provide a compelling story about your business and how receiving funding will benefit both your company and the community you serve.
- Agree to be contacted to consider participating in future promotion opportunities for Intuit/CAGBN if requested.
- Project must be undertaken on or after August 20, 2023
