The Famous Amos: Ingredients for Success Grant recipients will receive a complete suite of mentoring and coaching resources. Grant recipients will work personally with the executive leadership of both the NBCC and The American Dream Market Place to ensure the mental well being of you as an entrepreneur, and that of your business. 75% of millennials deem mentoring critical to their success Managerial productivity increased by 88% when mentoring was involved, versus only 24% with training alone.
The Judging Process
Ten finalists will be chosen to move to the 2nd round of judging, with the first round winners being announced in January.

The three winners will take home a $50,000 grant each.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Ingredients for Success Initiative will support recently created businesses effected by the pandemic.
- Applicants must be in business for five years or less
- Your business must be at minimum 90% Black-owned
- Your business must be headquartered in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other Commonwealths, Territories, and Possessions)
