Black women-owned businesses are vital to their economy yet receive less than one percent of venture capital funding. Fearless Fund is deepening its commitment to this community with the launch of the contest.
The Fearless Foundation, is a 501c3 organization with a mission to educate entrepreneurs through training, reduce racial inequities, and empower African-Americans to gain access to capital. They offer grant programs for businesses, educational entrepreneurial programs and college scholarships.
Prize Information
Each prize winner will receive $10,000 awarded in the form of a check, issued to each prize winners’ registered name of business per the entry form, a 30-minute one-on-one virtual mentorship session with a Mastercard Small Business Mentor and a Mastercardâ Digital Doorsä Toolkit. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each prize is $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
The Fearless Strivers Dayton Grant Contest (“Contest”) is open only to black females who are at the time and date of entry: Legal U.S. residents (including D.C.); Eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older) (which is eighteen (18) in most states, but is nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska, and twenty-one (21) in Mississippi); and A principal owner of a U.S.-based small business.
