Schools produce an original documentary during one semester. Through the creative process of filmmaking, television production, or game design, students gain hands-on experience. Students also receive a working credit to increase their potential for future industry jobs.
The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media works with PBS12 and Rocky Mountain PBS to air the students’ final projects.

Eligibility
- To apply for this grant, you need to be a film, television, or media educator at a Colorado high school, college, or university. The project can be classroom work throughout a semester or created as an extracurricular opportunity.
- You may not begin the project until the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media awards the funds.
