Purpose
Funding assistance for the costs of interior or exterior remodeling or improvements to the Business building.
Funding Information
City will fund up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet each of the following criteria:
- Business must be certified as a Small Business (SB) or a Minority/Woman Business Enterprise (MWBE) with the City of West Palm Beach
- Business must be located within the City of West Palm Beach proper
- Business must have no outstanding liens, violations, pending litigation with the City of West Palm Beach or the WPB CRA or any unpaid real and/or tangible personal property taxes
- Business must submit a W-9 with grant application
- Business must be a for-profit organization
- Business must be registered with the State of Florida Division of Corporations
- Business either owns the property being improved; or has the consent of the property owner to remodel or make improvements
- Business intends to complete remodeling or improvements within one year, before or after, submittal of the grant application.
