The primary purpose of the Clinton County Solid Waste Management District is to increase waste reduction through the practice of encouraging recycling and litter prevention activities throughout Clinton County. One method in which the Solid Waste District goes about promoting this message is by working closely with local businesses to encourage and provide resources for recycling and waste reduction activities.
With this in mind, the Solid Waste District is sponsoring the Go-Green Grant to provide these businesses with the necessary resources to implement various recycling activities in their places of employment, thus furthering environmentally-friendly waste management efforts at their facilities.
Funding Information
The SWMD has allocated a total of $8,000 toward the 2023-2024 Go-Green Grant program.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications for the Go-Green Grant will be accepted from any business, including non-profit agencies, located within Clinton County.
