The Cultural Council for the Town of Gosnold is the Cuttyhunk Cultural Council. Its mission is to create, preserve and promote culture–through the arts, sciences, and humanities– with grants to artists and others from their island community, and with grants to bring artists and others to their island community.
Local Priorities
The grants support a variety of cultural projects and activities, including art and music workshops, performances and concerts, nature learning, culinary events, nautical and island specific presentations, history, author lectures and more.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must reside or be located in Massachusetts. Local Cultural Councils may accept applications from anyone included in the following list:
- Individuals
- Incorporated private nonprofit organizations
- Unincorporated associations that can establish a nonprofit objective
- Public schools, libraries, other municipal agencies, and the Local Cultural Council itself
- Religious organizations.
