The purpose of the City of Redlands Grocery Gift Card Program is to reduce the effect of the negative economic effects on impacted or disproportionately impacted households as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing assistance and furthering access food. The Grocery Gift Card Program is funded by the Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Funds (CSFRF/CLFRF).

Funding Information
The Grocery Gift Card Program provides eligible households with a $100 grocery store gift card on a monthly basis for one-year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Reside within the City of Redlands; and
- Address is within one of the two Redlands Qualified Census Tracts (verified by the Office of Policy Development and Research); or
- Household income is below $65,880 per year; or
- Can demonstrate proof of current enrollment in one or more of the following programs:
- Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
- Childcare Subsidies through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Program
- Medicaid
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Free and Reduced-Price Lunch (NSLP) and/or School Breakfast (SBP) programs
- Medicare Part D Low-income Subsidies
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Head Start and/or Early Head Start
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Section 8 Vouchers
- Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Pell Grants
- Southern California Edison’s California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) or Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) program.
