Proposed projects should address at least one of the following HOPE Taskforce Framework areas:
- Reduce Access to Drugs
- Reduce Opioid Use and Misuse
- Overdose Response and Prevention, including harm reduction programs
- Treatment & Recovery
- Substance Use Prevention & Education
The HOPE Taskforce particularly seeks innovative, community-based proposals which are sustainable.
Funding Information
- The total funding available for the round is $87,000. Grant awards are expected to be between $10,000 and $50,000. However, the Taskforce will review applications for less than this range.
- Project period duration of up to 12 months between September 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- Local units of government (ex. Municipalities, townships, police, fire, libraries)
- Federally tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) charitable organizations
- Substance use disorder treatment providers licensed by Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR)
- The proposed project must serve primarily DuPage County residents.
- Projects that serve a majority of individuals on Medicaid and/or individuals who are uninsured will be given priority
