The mission of the Glencoe Area Community Foundation is to create a legacy with projects that matter, supported by people who care. Serving the Glencoe area, the Foundation is a vehicle for donors, helping them achieve their charitable goals. It also works with donors to structure planned gifts, which benefit the benefit both the community and the donor. The Foundation raises and manages donations of all amounts from individuals, families, businesses, and other foundations. The income from these gifts is awarded to projects that serve the best interests of the area.
Funding Information
Grant proposals between $500 and $2,000 will be accepted, with the request not to exceed 75 percent of the proposed project cost.
Eligibility Criteria
Grant proposals should demonstrate a benefit within the Glencoe area. All proposals must be submitted by a 501(c)(3) organization, a unit of government or a public agency. A group that doesn’t fit in any of those categories must apply through a fiscal agent willing to accept responsibility for the project.
