The Morrison County Area Foundation will accept and consider funding proposals that fit within their mission to improve the quality of life for residents of Morrison County. The following categories will receive priority funding:
- Education, especially in the development of informed and engaged citizens.
- Health, including both mental and physical health needs.
- Developing Welcoming Communities, especially through programs that emphasize community connectedness, improve community appearance, and/or support equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
Funding Information
Their current maximum grant size is $2,000, not to exceed 50% of total project costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants are those that serve the residents of Morrison County and include:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations,
- School districts,
- Local units of government, or
- Community groups operating through a mission-related fiscal host with the appropriate tax-exempt status.
- The MCAF Advisory Board will periodically review the minimum and maximum grant size.
