Often lacking the critical mass or grant-writing acumen to attract major funding, nonprofits in rural communities are hungry for any resources they can glean. They are fortunate to live in communities were $25 still makes a difference.
These grant dollars can be applied to systems software, office hardware, part-time personnel, general operating costs, etc., where a small grant can have a significant effect on an organization’s ability to bridge a gap in resources. Applications must indicate a critical need that an organization cannot currently meet.
Funding Information
- Grant County Community Foundation’s Sebert Brewer Memorial Fund, having received a generous donation from the Jane Elise Hendricks Charitable Trust, will award two $5,000 grants (or one $10,000 grant) to nonprofit organizations doing business in the four-county area served by Grant County Community Foundation to address critical but unmet needs in the area.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grant applications are invited from any nonprofit that is a 501(c)3 organization, or has a fiscal sponsor who is a 501(c)3 organization, who conducts activities within southwest New Mexico for the benefit of those communities, and who meet the requirements of the grants as outlined.
