PCC’s mission is to ensure that good food nourishes the communities they serve while cultivating vibrant, local, organic food systems. To meet the continuing needs of the community, and reach more people, they have expanded their 2021 Downtown Seattle Food Access Grant to have a regional impact. This grant provides funding to support food purchasing by nonprofits doing food access work in their communities.

PCC will award eight grants, up to $7,500 each.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must hold a current tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) or work under a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status. Nonprofit organizations will be asked to provide their nonprofit status via their EIN. PCC will confirm this nonprofit status using GuideStar and similar services.
- The food purchased with these funds must be distributed free of charge.
- PCC does not fund organizations that discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion, disability, medical condition, sex or gender, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
- Priority funding will be given to organizations run for, by, and in historically marginalized communities.
