The Western Suburbs Giving Circle of Chicago Foundation for Women (WSGC) is a group of Chicago–area women who combine their funds to address the needs of women and girls in the western suburbs.

Grants will range from $5,000 to $15,000.
Project Period
Funds awarded are a one-year grant for work being done between July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must be a 501c3 or have a fiscal agent with a 501c3
- Operating budget of $3 million or less
- Primary service area is in the western suburbs
- Current and past grantees of WSGC may apply, however, grantees may only receive two consecutive years of funding – if an organization has received two consecutive years of funding, they will not be eligible unless the organization sits out at least one funding cycle before applying again.
- Current CFW grantees may apply, however, preference will be given to organizations not currently funded through one of the Foundation’s other grant programs.
- Organization aligns with CFW’s five Guiding Principles:
- Gender Lens o Reproductive Justice o Board and Staff Diversity
- Accessible to Persons with Disabilities
- Provides a Respectful Environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ) People
