The current Five Year State Plan for the Minnesota Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) has been submitted to the Administration for Community Living (ACL), US Department of Health and Human Services for FFYs 2022-2026. The Plan includes the following Goal Statement for Quality Improvement:
- “Identify and implement an approach that promotes continuous quality improvement and apply the principles to all Council work.”
The DD Act requires grant programs to increase outcomes in regard to independence, productivity, self determination, integration and inclusion (IIPSI). Through a continuous improvement process and application of quality principles, the GCDD has worked to better understand customer needs, requirements, and expectations; better assess the IPSII outcomes; and make improvements and refinements to GCDD funded projects, programs, and activities to increase the IPSII outcomes.
The selected contractor will assist with the development of a quality improvement strategy that will be applied to all GCDD products and services including Five Year State Plan logic models for each goal, the ACL annual Program Performance Report, the GCDD’s annual Work Plan, Business Results, Annual Reports, and monthly reports.
Funding Information
The initial contract will be in the amount of $20,000.00 and the contract may renew up to four additional years. Work is anticipated to start after October 15, 2022.
