The Roseville Community Fund will focus on funding those projects and programs which are intended for qualified charitable purposes, adhere to Minnesota laws governing charitable gambling proceeds, and benefit the community of Roseville and School District 623 (as located within the geographic border defined by both entities).

Generally, grants are limited to $2500.00 per calendar year for district 623 projects and $5,000 for 501C3 charities.

Supplemental Guidelines

Generally, grants are limited to $2500.00 per calendar year for district 623 projects and $5,000 for 501C3 charities. More or less would be considered based on project. Grant sizes are established to assist and leverage the greatest number of quality projects possible. Grant ranges will be established annually by the Committee based on projected Fund income.

Grant Evaluation Guidelines for their Consideration

  • Application Evaluation Considerations Is the applicant an eligible applicant?
  • Does the project address an important Roseville community need?
  • To what degree does the project benefit the community of Roseville?
  • How does the project respond to the needs of the people proposed to be served?
  • Is the applicant qualified to undertake the proposed project?
  • Does the applicant have the staff and financial resources to complete the project?
  • Is there a well-developed plan for the project?
  • How will the desired effect of the project be measured?
  • What percentage of the project funding is proposed to be met by the Roseville Community Fund?
  • What are the sources and amounts of other funds involved in the project?
  • Is this a one-time or ongoing project?
  • What is the scheduled timetable for the project and is it realistic?

Eligible Applicants

Qualified 501(c)(3)(4 for specific projects) organization. Note Government agencies and friends of Government Agencies are eligible but limited to no more than 1/3 of grants given per quarter.
