Grants of up to $500 each are open to applicants seeking funding for local arts and cultural based projects.
Criteria
- Applicants may be individuals or organizations. Residency in Salida is not required, but the project must have a definable connection to the Salida Community and be supportive of the Council’s Mission to enrich the cultural life of their community by nurturing and supporting excellence in the arts; to increase the community’s awareness of and appreciation for the arts; to promote and encourage arts education; and to serve as liaison between the arts, businesses, government and educational institutions.
- These grants are for a specific creative project and not for an artist’s or arts organization’s operating budget. Use your imagination to create a project that will inspire, edify, and/or entertain the Salida community.
