The goal of the Festivals Committee is to return money to the local community in the form of grants to nonprofit organizations. This year the committee is pleased to offer community groups $40,000 from the 30th annual Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival and the 47th annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, both occurring in 2023.
Priority is given based on the following criteria:
- Cultural art focused projects
- Projects that support overall Town of Cary initiatives
- Projects that support downtown Cary initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations must be Cary-based non-profits (501(c)3) with a federal tax identification number. Organizations may submit one application describing a single project they wish to have funded. Cary based non-profits may collaborate with other Cary-based non-profits when submitting an application. However, one of the non-profit groups must be identified as the organization of record that will manage grant funds.
