- In Spartanburg County, the minimum investment is $15,000 per program per year. The maximum investment in Basic Needs and Safe Environments is $25,000 per program per year. There is no maximum investment in Economic Mobility, Education, or Health.
- There are no minimums or maximums for programs in Cherokee and Union Counties.
- Grant awards are for 12 months (January – December).
Criteria
- They fund nonprofit programs in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties that have an impact on the priority areas included in their Community Impact Agenda.
- United Way of the Piedmont can fund faith-based organizations, however the funds cannot be used for any programming or services that require clients to participate in a religious activity in order to receive the service/program. Any religious components of the programming must be completely voluntary.
