The Emerging Creative Hubs Index shows where creativity is thriving—in the not-as-known cities, the hidden gems, the rising stars. As a Certified B Corporation, it’s their goal to help these communities thrive, making creative fields, art, and culture accessible to all.
Funding Information
They have a healthy pot of $100,000 to divvy up to 10-20 nonprofit organizations. Grants range from $5,000 to $10,000 amounts.
Who can apply?
To apply, make sure you meet these qualifications:
- You’re a nonprofit headquartered in one of these cities: Atlanta, GA; Madison, WI; Norfolk, VA; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; Honolulu, HI; San Antonio, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Nashville, TN; or Memphis TN
- You’ve been in operation for more than one year from the application deadline
- You can identify a specific event, activity, or project that you will use the funds for within the next 18 months
- Your nonprofit’s mission relates to furthering the arts, culture, or creativity
- You can demonstrate how your nonprofit supports underrepresented groups in the creative industries
- Your nonprofit has at least one full-time employee.
