As part of efforts to alleviate ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Tacoma’s small business community, Mayor Victoria Woodards recently announced the availability of $300,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, establishing a Window Replacement Grant Program to offset costs incurred replacing windows broken at their business location.
This round of grants provides an opportunity for commercial enterprises located within Tacoma city limits to seek funding to help offset of the cost of window replacement, including insurance deductible, up to $2,000 maximum. One grant per business address.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible small businesses based in Tacoma, with no more than 15 full-time equivalent employees.
- To be eligible, applicants must have:
- no more than 15 FTE employees, including the owner(s)
- a current City of Tacoma business license
- a valid WA State Driver’s License or alternate ID
- a business Data Universal Number (DUNS) or new Unique Entity ID (UEI)
