This program offers financial assistance to students pursuing a forest resource education. Currently, one or more scholarships are offered each year to Ohio high school graduates who have been accepted into an approved university, college, junior college or technical university offering a forest resource curriculum.
The purpose of the Ohio Forestry Memorial Scholarship is to provide assistance toward forest resource education to quality students. Funds awarded may be used to pay or defray the cost of tuition, room, board, and/or laboratory fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship grant, the applicant must be an Ohio resident, U.S. citizen and high school graduate accepted for admission to an approved college or university, junior college, or technical college with a two year minimum program in forestry resources. Current college students must provide evidence of satisfactory scholastic advancement.
