City of La Mesa E-Bike Incentive Program (California)

Dated: April 1, 2025

The City of La Mesa is excited to pilot an e-bike (electric bike) incentive program to promote biking as a main form of transportation for people who live and/or work in the City of La Mesa.

City: La Mesa

The City of La Mesa has partnered with the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition (SDCBC) to provide a mandatory free virtual class for approved applicants. Proof of participation is required to receive the e-bike voucher. There will also be free optional public in-person events and classes throughout the year that program recipients will be encouraged to attend.

Voucher Amounts

All vouchers will be paid directly to the participating retailer and will be honored at point-of-sale when recipients purchase an eligible e-bike.

  • Standard Voucher: Approved participants receive an incentive voucher of $800
  • Income Qualified Voucher: Approved eligible participants receive an incentive voucher of $1,200.
