The Wallace-Carver Fellowship will take place May – August 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Any student who has participated in a World Food Prize Youth Program, is a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, at least 18 years old, and a registered full-time college student (undergraduate or graduate) in Fall 2024.
Fellowship Expectations
- This is a full-time paid fellowship (40 hours per week) and requires an 8-week minimum work commitment. Wallace-Carver Fellows are hired as federal employees of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and are paid on the federal government’s General Schedule. Fellows are responsible for any relocation and housing costs associated with working in-person at their fellowship site.
- Wallace-Carver Fellows are expected to participate in, and present at, the World Food Prize Foundation Global Youth Institute and International Borlaug Dialogue in October 2024 as a core component of the experience.
