The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) Food Assistance Program (FA) is administering up to $4 million of grant funding to the hunger relief network of Washington this fiscal year (ends June 30, 2022) for the purpose of strengthening and equipping the entire hunger relief network to meet current and emerging community needs.
WSDA FA is offering grant opportunity to all hunger relief agencies, tribal governments, and tribal organizations across Washington.
Funding Information
- Under $5,000
Grant recipients of projects under $5,000 will contract with Harvest Against Hunger. These projects are for equipment and equipment installation costs only.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be currently active in System for Award Management (SAM) and have a Data Universal Numbers System number (DUNS #).
- Be a public agency, recognized tribe, or 501(c) nonprofit organization supporting hunger relief in the Washington State.
- Nonprofit organizations must have been in operation for 12 or more consecutive months and be registered with the Washington Secretary of State.
