Deadline: 01/07/2025

Grant Duration: Grant Duration Not Mentioned

Details:

A Startup Bootcamp is designed to help 18- to 30-year-olds turn ideas, passions, and side hustles into functioning businesses, they will provide a series of workshops, mentorship opportunities, and peer support to help you launch and grow.

Turning your idea into a real business is tough, especially when you don’t know where to start. Startup Bootcamp exists for just that reason, providing you with the tools and network to get your business off the ground. You don’t have to do it alone.

Benefits

  • Kickstart your entrepreneurial journey through Startup Bootcamp, a three-month workshop and discussion series that instills a foundation of entrepreneurial skills in participants like you while you build your startup network. Startup Bootcamp culminates with Pitch Day, an opportunity to get your ideas in front of a new audience while you flex your pitching skills.
  • Founders who show the most intention and traction through Startup Bootcamp will be invited to Phase Two of the program. Over the course of three months, Phase Two members will connect with coaches and peer mentors to help them grow their new businesses.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Industry: Future Founders programs are industry agnostic (they’ve worked with everything from jewelry to drones).
  • Age: Their programming is geared for people 18-30ish years of age. You have to be at least 18 to qualify. Totally cool if you’re in your thirties, especially if this is your first go-around within entrepreneurship or you need a community to support you in this journey.
  • Co-founders: Co-founders are eligible to participate together in the Startup Bootcamp only. Co-founders must submit their own applications to be considered.
  • Equity: Applicants should be the primary equity holder and decision maker within their company/business.
  • Your location: Most of their programming is held virtually, but each program includes at least one retreat in Chicago. You do not need to live in or relocate to Chicago if selected. Unfortunately, at this time, they cannot work with companies HQ’d outside of the United States.
