2022 Award Categories
- Environmental Impact
- This category recognizes companies that have made a meaningful impact toward their contribution to combatting climate change including efforts to become carbon-neutral, optimizing supply chains, and investing in sustainable policies and resources.
- Social Responsibility Impact
- This category recognizes companies that have made a meaningful impact in social responsibility including community investment (specific to social justice initiatives), employee resources, and providing an overall inclusive culture. Nominees must show examples of equitable programs having a successful impact on employees and community.
- Governance Impact
- This category recognizes companies that have implemented governance policies across their organization that help guide their decision-making including board make-up and oversight, transparency, and corporate ethics and values. Nominees must show examples of how these policies have had a positive impact on the company.
- Business Accomplishment
- This category recognizes companies for achieving major accomplishments throughout the past year. Examples include major business transactions (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, etc.) or significant business performance (e.g., doubling revenue or headcount).
- Leadership
- This category recognizes CEOs for their leadership throughout this past year. They will recognize outstanding executives who were able to not only shepherd their employees through these difficult times but emerge stronger than before. Note: This category does not measure financial or growth outcomes, but instead the resiliency of a leader.
- Technology of the Year: Advanced Manufacturing
- This award recognizes an innovative technology or process that has provided a unique differentiator and has had a significant impact on advanced manufacturing processes (I.E. the use of AI, ML, IoT). The product/technology must have been introduced or significantly redesigned within the past 12 months and developed in the Massachusetts region.
- Technology of the Year: Clean Tech
- This award recognizes a clean tech product or technology that has provided a unique differentiator and has had a significant impact on the company, customer and/or market. The product/technology must have been introduced or significantly redesigned within the past 12 months and developed in the Massachusetts region.

- This award recognizes a consumer tech product or technology that has provided a unique differentiator and has had a significant impact on the company, customer and/or market.
