The Jenco Foundation Fund Established to continue the work of the Jenco Foundation, the Fund offers individual achievement awards to recognize visionary leaders and volunteers who by direct, person-to-person action have worked to increase the dignity and sense of worth of individuals in Appalachian Ohio through creative problem-solving.
The award is open to people of all ages serving their communities. This year, the Jenco Foundation Fund intends to make one or more cash awards to individuals in Appalachian Ohio who have performed noteworthy community service above and beyond their everyday work and/or job responsibilities. The Jenco Foundation Fund Committee believes this recognition is important to regional community development efforts and continues to encourage those who give of themselves and inspire others to volunteer in their communities.
Jenco Awardees serve their communities across many different areas, including arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services.

As a regional community foundation, the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio’s community is the 32 Appalachian counties of Ohio.
