wiseHer/Staples Connect Big Small Business Boost Contest (the “Contest”) has been created by wiseHer, Inc. and Staples US Retail, LLC (“Sponsor”) (each a “Sponsor,” collectively the “Sponsors”) .
Prize Information
- Each Contest Winner will receive [1] $5,000 gift card to Staples Retail stores (“Contest Prize”).
- Each Contest Winner may receive recognition on the wiseHer and/or Staples Connect platforms.
- Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute property of equal or greater value for any Contest Prize that cannot be awarded.
- Each Contest Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsors.
- Each Contest Prize Winner, recipient is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with Contest Prize acceptance and use not specified in these Official Rules. These taxes are the sole responsibility of the Contest Prize Winner.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible to apply to the Contest, you (the “Officer”) must be all of the following as of the first day of the Contest Period (as defined below): (a) a legal resident of the United States (including the District of Columbia but excluding U.S. territories), (b) at least 18 years of age, and (c) an authorized representative of Entrant (as defined below) that is able to legally bind the Entrant with respect to the Contest.
- To be eligible to apply to the Contest, the business (the “Entrant”) must meet all of the following criteria as of the first day of the Contest Period: each Entrant must
- (a) have a live business presence as defined by one or all of the following: an online business presence – evidence of which can be any or all of the following: a business website URL, Yelp/Google Business Listing, Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram business profile. (b) have a listing in the Staples Connect business directory (c) have <10 full time employees (excluding the owner) (d) provide a compelling business origin story (e) provide a compelling story that shares how being selected as a winner would positively impact your business (f) must not be engaged in illegal, potentially illegal, immoral or illegitimate activities as judged in Sponsors’ sole determination, and (g) be any business entity legally permissible in the United States.
- A business is not eligible to apply to the Contest if it is owned by, or employs, any individual who is (a) an employee of any Sponsor (as defined below), (b) a household member (legally related or not) of an employee of any Sponsor, or (c) an immediate family member (i.e., spouse, parent, legal guardian, in-law, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, or child) of an employee of any Sponsor.
- The potential recipients are subject to verification of eligibility by each Sponsor, which will include a background check and completing associated documentation.
