For the 2025 season, Wave Hill is particularly interested in projects that provide new perspectives on constructs of nature as they shape, inform and relay histories about the Bronx, including but not limited to Riverdale where Wave Hill is located, the surrounding neighborhoods and the diverse neighborhoods and communities of the Bronx.
Funding Information
Five artists will be selected for solo exhibitions and will receive an honorarium of $2,000 each. One artist will be selected to present a site-specific project or a series of performances on Glyndor Terrace with an honorarium of $6,000.
Eligibility & Guidelines
- Wave Hill welcomes applications from artists who work across media.
- Are in the early stages of their career.
- Live within a 50-mile radius of the Bronx.
- Students enrolled in a degree-granting program; artists with commercial gallery representation, and/or who have previously exhibited at Wave Hill are not eligible.
- Artists may submit proposals for consideration online through SlideRoom.
- Applications are reviewed by a jury comprising of Wave Hill’s Curator of Visual Arts, a guest curator and a previous Sunroom Project Space artist.
