Accommodations Tax Grant funds are designated specifically for tourism-related activities, as required by South Carolina law. Data to support tourism impact is required.
Non-profit organizations that support and increase tourism through the promotion of the arts and cultural events and/or through the operation of facilities for artistic and cultural activities are eligible to apply for assistance.
Key Dates
- Due to the delayed process and payment of grant award, there will not be an interim report due. The final report will be due Feb 3, 2023.
- July 2022 – 2023 Accommodations Tax Grant Application Process Begins – Further details will be announced in June.
- Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee Meeting – Fall 2022.
