The Foundation general endowment supports the good work of Brandon-area nonprofits through an annual competitive grantmaking program. Made possible thanks to generous contributions from donors, these grants help support organizations and causes aimed at enhancing quality of life, addressing important needs and creating equity throughout community.
Thanks to the support of their donors, they’re proud to say they’ve granted more than $275,000 to nonprofits throughout community since 2006, improving quality of life, creating positive change and driving meaningful social impact through philanthropy.
Eligibility Criteria
Grants are awarded to area charitable organizations who strive to improve the quality of life for all ages in the areas of arts, recreation, health and public safety, education and more.
Requirements
- Projects must directly benefit the people of Brandon, South Dakota.
- Proposal must be for an enhancement/special project that meets a community need. Ongoing, operating, and budget deficit requests will not be considered.
- Program or project must be completed within 12-18 months.
