The City of Port Arthur, as a Department of Housing and Urban Development Entitlement City, receives Community Development Block funds for eligible activities that meet at least one of the following three national program objectives:
- Benefit low and moderate-income persons
- Aid In the prevention or elimination of slums or blight
- Meet urgent community development needs, which pose an immediate threat to the health or welfare of the community.
Eligibility Criteria
All interested non-profit agencies and individuals may apply for Port Arthur’s 2023 Community Development Grant Program.
