This grant program aims to support capital projects for buildings and grounds owned by non-profit entities in the city.
This round of grants is intended to support the maintenance of physical spaces of not-for-profit entities operating and offering services within the City of Superior.
Eligible Projects
Examples of allowable projects may include: roofing, landscaping, plumbing, doors, windows, permanent lighting, projects that update the building to be ADA compliant, HVAC, brick repair, painting, and other buildings and grounds-focused projects that improve the lifespan of the building and/or grounds and/or improve the aesthetic seen by the neighborhoods in which the building and/or grounds is part.
Key indicators used for selection of grantees will include historical significance of the building and/or grounds, visibility to the community, urgency of the repairs needed, and the ability of the entity to continue upkeep after the project.
