What will NextFifty Initiative consider funding?
Areas for funding include, but are not limited to the following (specific examples are provided in sub-bullets):
- One-time expenses that are unanticipated or serve an immediate need
- An unexpected opportunity to reach underserved community members
- Purchase of a wheelchair accessible vehicle to improve transportation service to older adults with disabilities
- A one-time investment in organizational capacity
- Costs associated with purchase and implementation of a database that will help collect better data or improve donor engagement
- Financial audit or review
- Expanding an organization’s vehicle fleet to better serve older adults or increase the scale of a transportation service
- Consultant fees for advising on an organization’s rebrand or strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems
Who can Apply?
Only non-profit entities based in Colorado, organized under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code and serving adults 50 and older are eligible to apply for Community Response Fund grants.
