These grant funds are intended to provide an infusion of resources into community to meet pandemic recovery needs and to rebuild the local economy as Chester County continues to recover. All grant awards will be generally consistent with the spirit and intent of ARPA.
While there is no minimum or maximum amount of funding that can be requested, recommendations for funding less than the amount requested may be made based on the number and type of applications submitted. In addition, awards may include phased funding.
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provides $350 billion for eligible state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments to meet pandemic response needs and rebuild a stronger, more equitable economy as the country recovers.
