The mission of the GF-Town of Stillwater Foundation is to provide tangible benefits of a public nature to diverse groups located within the Town of Stillwater including not-for-profit corporations, charitable organizations, community arts and theater, community historical sites and events, education, and sports and recreation.
Community Benefit
As part of the development agreement for Fab 8, GF contributed $1,000,000 to fund the Foundation. The company contributed to this fund in installments, marked by key milestones towards the successful construction and start of operations of Fab 8. The Foundation was fully funded in July 2012. The funds are held in a special escrow account to provide funding for projects providing tangible and measurable benefits to the Town.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to provide tangible benefits of a public nature to diverse groups located in whole or in part within the Town of Stillwater including, but not limited to:
- Not-for-profit corporations
- Charitable organizations
- Community arts and theater
- Community historical sites and events
- Education
- Sports and recreation
- Be willing to publicize the grant
