In most instances, grants are for capital outlays. The Foundation does not fund scholarships, operating budgets, duplication of services, organizations that attempt to influence legislation or intervene in any political campaign, or religious groups.

An application form is required and should include the amount requested, how grant dollars will meet their criteria, a balance sheet, a list of board members, and evidence of tax-exempt status (federal regulations require that they give to organizations described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code). The letter must be signed by the chief executive officer and the president of the board.
Funding is limited to include the purchase of equipment and building projects relating to the Sample Foundation’s mission and geographic area.
