Interested organizations should have a history of serving the Watertown community and maintain a 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 status. Submittals should include a description of the proposed event or program, estimated event or program costs, and proposed cost including amount you are requesting from the City.
Generally, the City seeks programming proposals in the three following areas:
Eligibility Criteria
The City of Watertown seeks proposals that meet one of the following criteria.
- Youth Programming
- Provide an alternative to organized sports
- Contain an educational component
- Promote healthy living, active lifestyle
- Is open and accessible to youth under the age of 18
- Is no charge/ reduced charge to Watertown residents
- Adult Programming
- Contain an educational component
- Promote healthy living, active lifestyle
- Is open and accessible to persons over the age of 18
- Is no charge/ reduced charge to Watertown residents
- Arts and Culture Programming
- Provide access to arts and culture
- Is sensitive to the community’s history
- Provides new programming that is not otherwise available
- Is not sponsored by a political party or promote a political party
- Is no charge/ reduced charge to Watertown residents
- Is open and accessible to the entire community
- Provide access to arts and culture
